| Requirements |
- Proposals
must be for “student usage items” only. The committee is committed to
funding items that are solely for student use. The following items do
not qualify for funding and will not be funded: furniture, laptops for
instructional use, education tools for instructors, and projectors. It
is very important and your cooperation will help in expediting the
funding process. Review your proposal to ensure that it is for student
usage.
- The committee will fund laptops,
PCs and servers from the Dell contract at mid level or lower cost. If
you propose to purchase lap tops, PCs, and servers at a higher cost,
you must justify the need for the additional cost.
- The
committee makes awards based on number of items funded, not on the
dollar amount of the items on original proposal. The committee will
fund your original configuration request even if the dollar amount
decreases at the time of purchase.
For
additional information, read the text of the original Board of Trustees
resolution on the way the technology fee is to be spent. This document
