Computer Learning CentersStandard Operating Procedures
SIUC Students, Faculty, Staff, and CESL (Center for English as a Second Language) students with a valid SIU ID may use the computer facilities and services in the Computer Learning Centers (Faner 1025, CASA 112, Rehn 21, and Communications B9).
These facilities and services include but are not limited to, computers, printers, software, and manuals. Software and manuals are to be checked out for use in the CLC only and must be returned before the closing of the CLC each day. Laptop checkout procedures in CLC2 and CLC3 are posted in each facility. Customers who do not return materials will be denied access to CLC services for a minimum of seven days. Materials not returned after seven days will be charged to the user's Bursar Account.
The CLCs are not responsible for lost/stolen items. Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted in the Computer Learning Centers. The CLCs make a concerted effort to create and maintain an environment conducive to learning. Loud, obnoxious and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated in the CLCs.
